Coming in 2024

The Iranian Islamic Republic, rooted in the teachings of Ayatollah Khomeini, continues to push itself away from the West, and kindle its’ relationships with Russia and China in an effort to create a petro-dollar reliant economy.

One of their initiatives is to continue the Shah’s legacy of building the second largest oil refinery in the world, near the Caspian Sea. But, their plan is to redirect 60% of its oil production to this northern facility and export the processed products East, and not West, as the Shah had intended.

The strategy is a bitter blow to the US and the UK petrochemical industries, and their governments, who have already partially funded the new refinery, provided the engineering, and were contracted to supply the construction know-how, and senior operations personnel.  Something has to be done to maintain the status quo.

ORB’s team includes Matthew Black, a site operative well-experienced with business sabotage, manipulation and control. His assignment is to cripple the refinery in Sari, and work with established local groups looking for social change. Matthew discovers more ways of working towards ORB’s primary objective, by spreading misinformation through a US military communications set up clandestinely near Sari, as well as to interfere with the cash assets of the Regime by redirecting them to ORB bank accounts.

Matthew is well supported by associates established in the vicinity of the refinery, including Plato who works on the international financial desk at the Meli bank in Tehran, and spends his weekends with his wife, Margaret in Chalus on the Caspian coastline to the west of Sari; James, the resident engineer at the refinery site; Leila, the female companion of a senior member of the US military working at the communications station; Richard, who works at the communications station and spends much of his time with James and family; Emma, the daughter of Murray Stockman and a highly qualified welder of exotic metals, working at the refinery site; Ali, a displaced Iranian-American working with the local social groups in northern Iran.  There are others that include the tradesmen who are imported to help with the sabotage of the plant, and the ORB group working behind the scenes to provide information to Murray and Matthew.

When a propane explosion, caused deliberately, at a cinema in Chalus, where a local chapter of the Friends of Iran were meeting, and over 200 young people died, new impetus was given to the group to more aggressively pursue with their agenda. They are supported by the new worker’s union that was gathering momentum and support on a national scale. Both groups were brought together, and acted at the same time as the refinery was sabotaged, while Plato worked to redirect the Regime’s off-shore funds to ORB accounts.

The combination of activities was too much for the Regime to manage. Their new friends deserted them, they had no oil revenues, and the populace had revolted.

Matthew’s job was done.

Murray Stockman, the Chairman of the Organization for Reorganizing Business, or ORB as it is more commonly known, has been approached by Domar Oil, the primary lender and operator of the oil industry in Iran, as well as interested governments, to swing the Regime back to align themselves with the West.
